HELP- Started doing seating arrangements!

Ok-- with 168 affirmative responses to the wedding, and 2 weeks left to go til my RSVP due date.. I started last night to get organized with the seating arrangement..

Now- I am finding it easier to put a table together than decide where each table is situated. Like- which parents get which side of the dancefloor, is it ok to have someone I am not that close with at a table very close to me, but they would enjoy sitting with the people there the most--

Any tips would be appreciated!

If you are standing facing the table you and FI will be sitting at, typically the bride's family goes to the right (so they sit on your side) and grooms on the left.

We put all the people at the tables we thought fit best together...and they we had to deal with the people we didnt know what to do with. Dont stress too much over it, you cant make everyone happy...not to mention no one spends much time sitting at the table anyway!

I actually had one friend b*tch and complain all night about where I sat her and her BF, I was surprised at her but ignored it.
