Wine Wedding Favor
Which do you think guests would prefer? I went to Pindar and Puglise Vienyards and I can't decide between:
Pindar's Summer Blush
Pugliese's Blush Table Wine (they also have a white, but the blush is not as tart at Pindars)
Puglise's Red Table Wine

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
I'm not really a wine drinker, so I can't comment on a specific one, but receiving a bottle of wine is a great favor

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
IMO.. I don't like Pindar. I love Puglisi and the bottles are soo nice. They will personalize them with your wedding date. The blush is really yummy.

I'm not a wine drinker, so I can't comment on the taste, but the Pugliese bottles with the handpainting look stunning.

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
We went with a Pindar Red and Pindar White, this way the guests could choose white or red. I personally don't like blush wines. So I would go with red or white.

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
If you don't mind me asking, how much do they charge for wine bottle favors at the LI vinyards?

The Pindar "seasons" bottles are $7 each, and they come wrapped w/ a personalized label. They also have a Pindar store in Pt. Jeff - that's where I got the prices from.

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
And can someone share how much Pugliese bottles are? Thanks!
ETA:
I called Pugliese myself and got prices...not bad at all! They are having a special on the blush table wine and the red table wine by the case. They hand write the bride's and groom's name and the date on the bottle. Looks lovely, but I have never tasted it...can anyone share on the taste? Is Pindar better?
Thanks!

Re: Wine Wedding Favor
We are between Pindar Summer and Puglise Red. FH wants the red bc he thinks it's more "italian"..... I just think that more people will favor the blush....
what to do, what to do... another decision!
I just want to get the wine that more will like and/or use.

I agree with you...not everybody likes Red or a White...So going with a Rose is a good way to go
