Anyone ever use peapod STOP & SHOP ONLINE - groceries to your door??
I know it sounds lazy..but...I dread those Pathmark shoppers - bumping their carts into you -- and forget it on weekends...insane!
I see these trucks all around town and am wondering if this is the new trend in grocery shopping? LOL...I"m also wondering if the produce if fresh>......

YES YES YES!!!!!
I LOVE PEAPOD!
FH and I used it when we had the flu. It was SO easy and they got us everything to a T. They even picked out our FRESH produce. it was SO great. it arrived on time, totally awesome. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!. I use it at FH's place, but they won't come to my neighborhood.
ANyway, I have nothing but good things to say about them...the frozen stuff even came great, packked in dry uce (which we got to play with after...we were bored..we had the flu..lol)

thanks. I don't live close to pathmark I must admit that Stop and Shop is on my Corner so if I am in a rush I stop there. They are more money but when they have a sale its a GOOD sale. This week Coke 1.5 liters are .58 cents! Ronzoni pasta is 3/.98

They have really good sales!
The shipping cost is graduated. The more $$ you spend, the less the shippng cost is, I know for over $100 it's $4.95 and if you take a less desirable delivery time or a longer window, it's $1 cheaper!
I'm not sure how much Fh was going to tip, but the guy ran away before FH had a chance to tip him. Maybe $5

We use peapod quite frequently. Fresh direct does not deliver on long island. The 10 dollar delivery fee(sometimes less) is so worth it to me. I don't have to walk around a store for an hour or carry all the bags to my door.

I posted on the newlywed brd- Love Fresh Direct ( same concept) the produce is fresher then the stuff the stores in my neighborhood has. WE ordered 2x from them and thats my new way to shop
