Any tips from Ebay sellers?

Do any eBay sellers have any tips for a beginner? Like, what is the best day to list and have your auction end? Do you always start your starting bid at the lowest you would take for that item? Any advice would be helpful.

I try to have mine end on Sunday/Monday. I think more people are on over the weekend. I think too that more buyers look at items ending first or newly listed before browsing everything in between (like 2-5 days left) Most of my stuff is clothing so I usually start the bid at $9.99 or less. Using the gallery picture is a plus when doing your listing (most buyers will glance at the thumbnail picture when browsing and are more likely to check out those listings as opposed to listings without the picture) There are also different auction listings you can use(ebay seems to be increasing their fees here and there!) I'm looking into that right now.
