Bridesmaid's of many colors

I have 5 BMs. . .

And they range in shape and size -- of course.

And I don't want to make them wear the same style dress.

But do you think it'll look okay to have them in different colors/fabrics too?

I'm having a fall wedding so I was thinking of autumn colors -- chocolate brown, copper/gold, wine/burgundy, red, mocha, etc. . .

What color BM dress would you have in an autumn wedding?

Or do you think I should let them wear multicolors. . .

Re: Bridesmaid's of many colors

I think you should do one or the other, not both. Either a) Go with the same color and material, but different styles that suit your BMs or b)Go with a specific style and get different colors. I think it may look odd mixing styles AND colors, JMHO.

ETA: I think wine/burgandy colors look lovely

I think you should do whatever you want. different colors, and style. you picked these girls because they are imporant to you. let them feel comfortable, in whatever style and color they like. It will make you wedding unique.

Do one or the other. Not both. It won't look right. I did all chocolate satin gowns from Vera Wang. But they got to pick the actual style.

I am using bill levkoff euro wine.. I was debating doing other styles but, we all agreed on one together. I would say to do what you and your girls feel comfortable with.

Re: Bridesmaid's of many colors

my wedding is in the fall so my bm are wearing wine. i think as long as they are the same color, it doesnt really matter the style.

Those are great dresses. When you have many women of different shapes and sizes, it is difficult to find one dress that will make everyone happy. I like the idea of sticking with one dress manufacturer that can use the same fabric and dyelot in different styles. You really can't go wrong that way. I originally had one idea, but who knows what I'll end up deciding.

Exactly... you need to have a little uniformity so everyone knows they are the BP

Re: Bridesmaid's of many colors

im having an autumn wedding too and am thinking of doing a separates and having the BM pick their own tops. I think chocolate looks awesome w/ fall colors. I have been looking on the Bill Levkoff website - they have nice autumn color separates dresses.

Re: Bridesmaid's of many colors

All those colors sound amazing to me. My top picks would be wine and chocolate. If you picked chocolate dresses you could easily use a deep red color for flowers which would look great together.

As for the different styles/material...I would stick to the same material and let the girls pick the style they like best.
