Hawaii Honeymooners?
I am going to Oahu for four days and then on to Maui. I have time share in Maui, so that's not a problem. I need a place to stay in Oahu. Where is everyone staying or has stayed? Also, where is it located and is it on a beach? I would like to stay right in Waikaii.

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners?
That was one of my choices, but when you go to those stupid reviews people talk you out of places. Was it right in town? Was it very crowded?

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners?
Yes it was in a good location. I dont remember it being very crowded at all. Ofcourse there were alot of people staying at the hotel, but it was never something that got in our way or bothered us at all! Its a huge place. I went a few years ago so maybe there are some other hotels in that area that are even better..but I really loved the whole "village" set up, the small stores, the food at the hotel was great..you can eat by the pool and the staff was wonderful (we were able to book tours at the the hotel) When I go back we'll probably stay there again.

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners?
We stayed at the Halekulani - awesome hotel. It is a smaller, boutique hotel so it's quieter than the big Hyatts and Hiltons. The city is right outside the front door of the hotel, so you can walk almost anywhere. But once inside the hotel, it's so different - you don't even notice the city. We had a view of the ocean and Diamondhead from our room I believe their website is Halekulani
We went there first and then Maui, and DH wanted to go back to the Halekulani. He was very impressed, and that is difficult to do.
