Quick Question-what was your response date for invites?

Our wedding is out of state for most, so we didn't know if it was proper to send them out a little early? Like two months? Is that too early? Most will be traveling from FL and will need to make arrangments.

Also, what do you think my response date would be, knowing that we have a B list?

mine is 3 weeks before the wedding, although I would have prefered 4 weeks. I'm going to mail the invites to the people who are further away at least a week earlier, but most know the date already

My response date was Valentine's Day.
Here is something to think about, as much as you think the responses will start flooding in they only will at first. There will be days when you get no responses (and you will want to kill people).

I'd go for earlier rather than later. The "no's" come in last. If you are doing a B list, you should consider that.

Mine is May 27...it was going to be the 29th but 27 if FH's favorite number

Mine is early. Exactly 2 months before the wedding. Why so early...

1. I'm a hs teacher and June is gong to be hell enough for me grading 6 classes worth of material and doing last minute wedding planning

2. The hotel had to have room booked by that date because we are getting married on a holiday weekend.

3. Everyone shoud know. I sent STD's 11 months before.

4. I know I'll have to call people anyway. My mom is deceased and my Dad has difficulty speaking so I'll have to make the calls for my side of the family.

im getting married on oct 2 05 my response date is sept 2 i am mailing the invites out probally the last week of july. so it gives them a good full month before the response date.

Thanks for your advice!!! I thought I was a freak to send them out and expect them back early- I was thinking of a two month response date, and now that I see that others have jumped the gun, I will too!!

June 7th but my hall shuts down from June 15 til July 15 and I need a final count early.
