For those of you that have received your albums or sumbitted your proofs...

what happens next? Do I get to see them set up before the album is final? If so, when does that usually happen in relation to the time after you submitted your proofs?

I just dropped off our proofs last night and they told us we will come back in June to look over the album proof. Then it takes about 4 weeks to get your album.

we went last week, and gave in our proofs . They laid them out on the table, to see how they'd all look together, in order.

They said the prints will be ready in 3 months & they will call us & then we go there & ok them, before they proceed with putting them in the album. At that time we confirm the color choice for the album.

ETA-- Just realized Nov2004 & I have the same photograpgher, so maybe other places do it differntly!

Two weeks after we choose our pictures, my photographer emailed me the proofs of our album pages. We are getting a didital album. Now I just have to decide how I want them changed and send them back. Then I belive he said 3 to 4 months to get them album.

We just got our ablum back - it came out beautiful!

We went through all our proofs and picked out the ones we wanted in the album. Then we went to our photographer and gave our proofs in and they discussed with us if we wanted speical effects, how many on a page, etc. (but we pretty left it up to their judgement). It took about a couple of months. We didn't see the album until it was finished and ready for pickup (it never occured to me to see the album before it was finished)
