It varies because I work different shifts but usually it's me unless I work until 10pm then he's home first.

Sometimes we carpool and we get home together and sometimes I go home earlier.
Either way I do most of the cooking - the novelty is wearing off already

dh. He does the grovery shopping after work, and sometimes the laundry or picks up the dry cleaning. Sometimes he prepares the dinner, but usually waits till I get home to cook it.

I do. I usually get home about 15 minutes - 1/2 hour before DH so that is why I do all the cooking.

DH, he teaches, so he gets home 2 /12 hours earlier than me. He then cooks dinner when I get home... the benefits of getting home later   (I hope this lasts).

It depends on the day. DH teaches college and has a night class on Monday. He does not get home till about 9:30, so I cook on Monday. I also get home first on Thursday by about an hour. On Tuesday he gets home by 1  and on Wednesday, it depends on whether or not he has a faculty meeting. If he does then I get home first. On Friday, he does not go into to work at all.

Based on my old schedule with my old job, normally it would be me who would come home first. Sometimes I would cook, sometimes he would, sometimes we would cook together.
With my new schedule, we could be coming home around the same time. I don't think cooking will change. We liked taking turns or cooking together.

He always gets home before me and thinks I am a workaholic. (well, if he got a real job, he would have to work a full day too)
But, anywho..I still cook because I'm better at it. I wish he would do everything else though!

That's our problem too. Somtiems I call on my way hone, with a gental " maybe you should stop playing video games & start the dinner, b/c I 'll b home at 8 & if you wait for me to start it, we won't eat untill tomorrow" reminder.
