Because they are being selfish and seem to have the attitude that they are doing the bride and groom a HUGE favor by attending their wedding...

We did end up having a baby at the wedding, which I really had opposed and made known, but he was an angel and did not make a peep the whole time.

You said, the magic words......I hate it when, I hear people say Ooo I can't believe they are not playing this paticular type of music. What if the bride and groom, loves 1 specific type of music...it is there day, let them enjoy listening to what ever they want to play.  .
Trust me, after the guests finish eating, they are ready to get up and leave....anyway....
