Thanks.
Not sure. FI HATES Queens since it's really easy to get lost because they have i.e., 123rd street, 123rd avenue, 123rd place and they can all be miles from each other.
However, if the place is as nice in person as in the photos, can hold 200 guests and is priced right, we would consider it.

Queens has towns so you're not going to get that lost. If you were going to 123rd Street in Whitestone, you wouldn't confuse it with 123rd street in Jamaica since they're completely different towns. I certainly wouldn't let something as simple as that deter you.

I do agree 100%---Besides, they are located in Corona--which is not that far from the LIE--which everyone knows---and I'm sure will not be a issue for people to find.

Re: Repost from 05 Board - Anyone been to a wedding ceremony/reception at this place
I have been there twice, my future sister in law's baby shower, and my future cousin in law's baby shower. I thought it was very nice, I don't have much to say about the food, I really don't remember. Its on a busy street, and there is no parking, but they valet for you.(I wondered where my car was going)
The place itself is VERY nice, Its clean, bright, decorated beautifully, nothing tacky about this place. I like it

I haven't been there myself but my girlfriend's cousin had her wedding there and my girlfriend said it was really nice and the food was good. She said it was very affordable.

I live in Corona. I pass by the place once in a while. It's a very busy street and there is no parking. My impression though is that it's a good place for a shower, not a formal wedding reception. JMO

Re: Repost from 05 Board - Anyone been to a wedding ceremony/reception at this place
Hey ladies. Not sure how this post got bumped today but we have ruled out this hall. The owner is a bit difficult to deal with per other brides I have spoken with (not LIW brides). Based on those reviews, and the attitude I got when I visited, we decided against this place. The space is very nice though and the prices are reasonable too.
