OOT guest bag question
Alright, so assuming that your BP and parents are also staying in the hotel...are you doing OOT guest bags for EVERY guest that is staying in the hotel or just the ones that are *really* OOT?

Yeah! I know pretty much EVERYONE is coming OOT for your wedding, right? Same thing with ours but not quite the same distance I know FMIL/FFIL are coming from NJ to Westchester and are prob staying overnight, so do THEY get an OOT guest bag? Ugh! SO confusing!

Re: OOT guest bag question
I did an OOT bag for EVERYONE that was stayin at the hotel. ALot of my "non" OOT'ers were my family, but i didn't want to take the chance on the hotel messing up and running out for actual guests. My hotel actual told me they cannot pick and choose when they hand out baskets, I couldn't label them. Check with the hotel for their specs

Re: OOT guest bag question
I would be afraid that two guests came at the same time to the front desk and one set got and another set did not get an OOT bag. If I was the local-ish one, I think I would feel badly. So, if doing them, then I will give to all guests staying at the hotel for our wedding or none. I have not made up my mind whether or not to do them. I prob. will but we will only have a few OOT guests and financially that is a big difference. Lisa

Re: OOT guest bag question
hmm.. that is a good question. I don't know if any of my local bms or family will be staying at the hotel. I will definitly give an oot bag my bridal party who is from oot. I will also probably give one to fmil but I don't think she will be upset if she doesn't get one. So i'm going to see how many i need and then decide if locals will get any.

Re: OOT guest bag question
I think I'm doing them for everyone. Also, just as an FYI, Michael's has the normal 8 x10 bags with handles on sale--3 for $1. The sale isn't for printed ones, and their colors don't span the rainbow but if you need some more, this might be a good place to check out!

Re: OOT guest bag question
I think I finally decided against doing OOT guest bags for a few reasons-
First, like you I was unsure if I need to give them to the BP and family staying at the hotel. My parents are paying for the BP to stay at the hotel for the night, so I didn't think it was necessary for them, but I didn't want anyone to feel shafted.
Second, the things I was thinking about putting in the bag, when I did the math, were really starting to add up.
Lastly, I found out that my hotel charges $5 each if you want delivery of items to the guests.
Considering breakfast is included in everyone's room cost (and some aren't paying for the room), I've given up!
