Travel Agents - Honeymoon at end of April

Hi, Any suggestions for a honeymoon desitination leaving from New york at end of april for 7-10 days max. Would love somewhere not too touristy but not so dead we will be bored in 2 days....need somewhere that we can travel using drivers license only- FI is not a US citizen, has a US drivers license but cannot go anywhere using his passport as his immigration status is pending and we won't want to jinx anything. Please forum me with suggestions, thank you.
