Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

Since I have been looking for a dress for my MOH with sheer sleeves what do you think of this one? Please be HONEST... Also do you think it will be good for all shapes? It will be in Platinum not blue.

Not too crazy about it. What about a sheer jacket on top of another dress?

Re: Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

It has been hard to find a dress that I think she would like because she is very picky and doesn't want this or that exposed being she is over weight. I want her to be happy. I have been looking fir a dress that has a jacket that is long not short. Which dress did you see from Watters and Watters???

not that crazy about it either. Davids has a lot of two piece dresses that could work better.

Good luck!

Re: Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

I really do not like it. I like the color but not the style of the dress. I agree that it looks like something from the Rennisance. I have also seen some really nice long sleeve 2 pieces at David's Bridal. You may also want to check out Chadwick's. The last time I looked, I saw some nice dresses that were inexpensive. Good luck!

Re: Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

How about a sleeveless dress with a wrap or a shrug over it? That way she can feel covered up w/o having sleeves. I think the color is really pretty!

Re: Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

What about this dress? It's by Alfred Angelo #6124. I tried to post it in a blue shade but not sure if it worked.

Re: Need HONEST Opinions about this dress

I think the dress is a little matronly. I may have the same issue that you did in regard to sleeves. My MOH is top heavy and rather than make her uncomfy, I asked her what she would prefer in terms of style. she said SLEEVES. I searched every website and magazine and found few dresses with sleeves that I liked. Of the ones I liked, I have seen the same dress over and over in different colors. The one ensemble I did like was the one below. However, I may not use it depending on the style of the dress I get for myself. It is a satin Alfred Angelo two-piece. It comes in many configurations of colors on top and bottom. It also comes in a great size range. The picture shows Jr. bridesmaid and plus sizes. MOH liked it. Hope this helps.
