Help...need ideas, pics and websites...
for STD's. I want to get cracking on them! I need ideas though, that won't cost an arm and a leg!
Some ideas...
-would like a card vs. magnet, though I am not opposed to the magnet.
-if I did magnet, would want it to come in or with a card and envelope.
-would like it to be either with fireworks (b/c wedding is just before 4th of July weekend) or simple.
Any and all ideas, suggestions, etc are VERY welcome!!

If you have a digital camera you could design your own off Shutterfly or Ofoto.com. I did that with my RD invites. My STD's had a motorcycle them that looked like a luggage tag to match our theme. A little pricey though. I wish I would of done the digital thing. You could put a pic of the you and your FH on it. Just an idea. Oh, they are really inexpensive.

Personally I think the magnets are a great idea - especially since your wedding is still over a year away. The magnets will get placed on the fridge, where as a card may get lost. I didn't send STDs, instead I set up the website that they offer you here on NYC Weddings and put my "Save the Date" reminder right on the Welcome Page.

In Martha Stewart weddings they suggested getting those small calender and pasting on to cardstock with the date circled. You could really make them look nice.

these were mine from vistaprint, they have a ton of designs and they came with envelopes. They even have a bunch of patriotic ones!!! patriotic announcements

I ordered my STDs off of ebay. Very simple and nice magnets from a woman. They are Carlson Craft - I think the woman prints them on the side. I paid, I think $65, for 125 and they came with an envelope. I found a nice script font and printed up the envelopes! I'll see if I can find the auctioners name if you're interested - she was great to work with, the magnets came out perfect and were shipped to me within a week!
