Stamps for invites
The stamp I want to use only comes in the 37 cent denomination. I'm thinking of just sticking two on the invite - is that okay? Are there any etiquette rules against doing this?

Re: Stamps for invites
You should bring your completed/stuffed invites tot he post office and have them weigh it. Usually, one $.60 stamp will work, and if you put 2 - $.37 stamps, you'll be wasting some money. They have a bunch of different styles, but you can order them online at www.usps.gov
Here is their wedding combo package

You can use that for your RSVP envelopes and then one of the 60 cent stamps for your invitations. That way you're not wasting $ and still getting to use these.

Re: Stamps for invites
Are you sure your invites are more than $0.37 -- mine actually weren't.
I agree, go with a different stamp to be safe, and use the one you like on the inside.

You would only spend an extra $0.14 per invite, so $14 per 100 invites. It's more money, but not all that much if you really like the stamps.

I just bought the new love stamps that came out. I am using two per invite because they don't make the 60 cents. Better to have extra on the invite anyway. If they weigh in at exactly 60 cents sometimes it goes over depending on the scales and they will send it back. It happened to my brother on 5 invitations.
