2 WEEKS LEFT

SOOOOO Overwhelmed. I'm starting to panic and lose it. I have so much to do and I end up doing NOTHING. All these last minute decisions...
Cake choice-decorations
-music for church
-seating arrangements

TONS of lists and stuff...

IM SCARED!

Is anyone TERRIFIED the Hall will not do things "as you want it"?
Im afraid they will laugh if I print out detailed instructions!

i am having similar thoughts that i am forgetting something. i spoke with my DOC & she assures me all is covered. SO i think that bride nerves

DM24 - I spent my lunch hour drafting a five line poem for our guest book. Which turned into twenty lines. Which cut to 10. AN HOUR on this. I feel exactly the same way - and I think that's what it is - jitters. Maybe we can find a way to get calm together . . .

I know I will feel exactly the same way 2 weeks before my wedding.

Just make sure you call all of your vendors to find out if everything's on track and tell them that you would feel less nervous if they went over your details for that day.

Hearing them explain their timeline and how they're going to take care of everything would make me feel better.

I'm right there with you, guys. I swear I'm going to be shooting people from a clock tower before this is over.

Everyone keeps telling me my nerves and stress are normal... How come no one tells you about this part?

I just keep hoping it will all be worth it in the end.

Charts are fine!!! They can laugh all they want - they still get paid!

And remember you can take a peek in the room before all the guests go in there to make sure everything is just as you want it.

I would think they'd rather have charts that way they know the bride will be 100% happy.

DM, it will be fine! I've got 3 weeks and I feel like calling each vendor to harrass them! :)

Seriously, I am sure you and I both got all the same charts; just list anything specific and call with questions. I actually called Glenn at WM to tell him I'd like to fax my menu card over to be sure it matches what he shows on his end. Aside from that, I plan to call the florist AGAIN to make sure they have access to the hall to set up, even though they go there every weekend! Aside from that....I promise it will be great. I am super anal!!!

Two Weeks???

Just Kidding!! I know it's overwhelming. Well, ok, I'm assuming it's overwhelming... since I have 5 weeks and I'm ready to keel over. BUT as much as you may stress these two weeks, PLEASE do not stress the day of your wedding. Go as crazy as you want up until that day (and preferably the day before) and then just let it go. You'll have done everything in your power to ensure that you have the most perfect day and, even if something goes slightly awry, you will!!!
