CP for kids table
We are having a kids table at the wedding (no invited kids just the ones in the BP are getting their own table). I don't want to spend the extra money on a floral CP for them. I was thinking of maybe a cookie bouquet CP. Any suggestions?

Re: CP for kids table
You might need a lot of cookies. How about a cupcake CP? You would probably only need 12 or so cupcakes to have a nice (and yummy!) display.

Re: CP for kids table
My friend put toy dinosaurs in the center of the table -- They doubled as a centerpiece and something for the kids to play with.

Re: CP for kids table
My cousin's wife had a great idea for the centerpiece at their wedding. She got two big sand buckets and filled them with candy, crayons, coloring books, etc. I never saw the kids all night. They were so entertained by the stuff at the table they hardly left. I think I am going to do the same thing. I have a lot of kids coming to my wedding.

Re: CP for kids table
My youngest kids are 6 and the oldest is 11 so I would need something that would be appropriate for kids that age.

Omg you noticed everything!!! lol Yeah I was NOT spending $200 on a floral centerpiece that kids would NOT appreciate in the least. Instead I spent $50 at party city and put it all in a big wicker basket!!! whatever they wanted to take home was also their favors! They loved it!

Re: CP for kids table
Maybe a vase with things like pinwheels (Martha Stewart has directions for making them) and those big round and long skinny lollipops like you get at Disney sticking out of it...

Cookies work well and you can get 6 - 10 of them to look "complete"

I'm doing something similar to that.
Our regular centerpieces are long boxes, with some semi-tell wheat grass, then daisies will be stuck in the middle of the grass - like a small field of daisies...but on the kiddie table we're going to also stick some pinwheels in the grass and some big round lollipops, and other candy on a stick :)
I love the cupcake idea!

Re: CP for kids table
I know a few people who did a candy CP for the kids at the table....A Big PLASTIC Vase filled to the brim with all sorts of good stuff and then as favors each kid got a big multicolored lollipop! Wish I had a pic. The kids loved it. They also had Shoestring Licorice on the tables.
