I met Sweetpea130000 at the first GTG I attended back in October. We were the first two to arrive at Applebee's and I was so thankful that I didn't have to stand at the bar alone! She's a doll and now I know we both love true crime books!

I was just thinking the same thing Donna! 
Donna&Joe0708 is the first bride that I met, and she is a doll and I was also very glad that I didn't have to stand at the bar alone.

Yup theses were the first ladies i met. I was talking wedding 25/8 and was so glad to find other brides on this earth that felt the same way.
We all went aroudn the table an told how we met our fiances,tht was sweet. We drank wine & hated to part each others company.
I really think the 05 board 'caught on' after that 
As the wedding is getting closer I think about this night alot and I remember how I knew way back then just how special LIWers are.

I always think back to the night of, and I always say "God we were so clueless!!! We had no idea how tough this would be!!" but I also think to myself "I never would have thought how closeknit I got to these girls." Its like we've known each other for years!!!
Technically I met flacataca first. I picked her up from the train station to take her to the GTG and the second we met, we clicked!!! I absolutely adore Stacy!!!

The first and only person I have met from LIWeddings is panapoli (Paige)...I work with her and she was the one who told me about this website....I am addicted now thanks to her!!! Love ya Paige!! You truly are the sweetest person I know!!!

I met Paige (panapoli) at a work event (we work in the same field) and she is such a sweet, genuine, lovely person (can't say enough nice things about her!), it made me feel good to be a part of this board.

I didn't actually meet her but my first contact with anyone from here was with Divabride..and I loved her and still love her now !!! :) Second was Flacataca who i love too...:)

I know SLWH2005 since I was born I think  But I met BMD's Peanut (a 2004 bride) because we learned on here that I knew her DH from my neighborhood, my DH & him went to HS together and then BMD & I owkred literally up the block from each other.
I then met Ang&Rich at Bloomingdales during the BIG Swarski sale last year.
ETA:
SLWH is one of the nicest person I know - very genuine and honest. And her FH, although I only met him a few times is very sweet, a really nice man.
BMD's my buddy - she was over for dinner Monday night! And her husbands great.
Ang&Rich was great. She helped me a lot, even helped me pick out earings to match my wedding dress.!
Awww!!! Thanks so much Lisa!!! You're the best! I'm looking forward to hanging out more during Andrea's wedding stuff!

I meet the lib at the first gtg and it was a great time to meet everyone there. You are great people to talk to and meet in person to. no matter if i didn't meet you at all then. You all are good people to me you are like my family
