February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
I wasn't into this idea until my FH and I both really liked an invitation with snowflakes on it. Now I'm about to go dress shopping and trying to decide between claret-colored dresses or dark blue...
I was thinking that maybe if I went with the snowflake theme, it might actually help me in a Murphy's Law kind of way...you know, how it only rains when you forget your umbrella? My biggest fear is snow!
What do you guys think?

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
i know exactly what you mean....but since we are sharing the same day and place i'll tell you what we decided...we're going with a semi-winter theme...i'm not sure what that means yet, but we are also going with a red and white theme....the dresses of the bridesmaids will be some shade of red...I can't wait til our day

Not to late. February is a winter month, perfect for a winter wedding. Sounds like a nice theme.

Does that mean you only get anniversary presents every four years? Was your DH in cahoots with your mom? I'm just kidding. My FH always jokes with me about leap years!!!

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
Definitely not too late! We are also doing a winter wedding theme. Who made the invites you were looking at? I have decided that my girls are going to wear a red dress with silver accents. Happy planning!

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
The invitation is from the Elite Weddings II album...it doesn't look very special online, but with the silver metallic ink it is very sparkly and pretty! I don't have a picture to post, but it's probably the only snowflake invite they have.

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
I just did a winter wonderland theme on 2/5/05. And it worked like you said--I had a gorgeous day where I didn't even need to wear a coat! I used the Rexcraft.com invitation with the trees covered in snow and little silver snowflakes.

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
I don't think it is late at all--it is still considered winter in Feb and I think that it would look really nice--and a great theme to work with because they have alot of stuff out there with snowflakes. Good luck

Re: February too late for a Winter Wedding theme?
We got married Feb 21 last year (MOnday was our anniversary!! ). WE didn't do any kind of theme, but our cake had snowflakes on it and my earrings and the detail on my dress were snowflake-y
It's definitely a winter month!
