I don't watch One Tree Hill, but here's a brief recap of the important moments in Gilmore Girls:
- Rory invites Marty over to watch movies; Logan ( ) shows up and invites them out to dinner with his friends; typical Marty vs. Rich Guys tension ensues
- Later, Marty tells Rory that he likes her, but she responds that she likes Logan ( )
- Icky Paris and the equally icky newspaper editor guy talk waaay too openly about their...uh...activities as "lovers"
- Luke takes his boat from Lorelai's garage; they get in a fight because he parks it in front of the diner where the whole town can see it and know that it's over between them (though it is clear towards the end that they still have feelings for each other)
- Logan ( ) climbs in through Rory's window and they start goin' at it

I like Marty, but he's almost too nice. Rory likes guys with a bit of an edge...whether they are adulterers or just guys with a bad attitude and a leather jacket from the 80s...
