I'm gonna cry UPDATE

So I ordered my wedding invites back in December...I finallly get them end of January....thats all fine. I knew these would take longer than the standard. So then I pick them up, and everything is fine, but the envelopes didn't have the lining in there. So since I paid for that, and still had ample time for them to go out, the store returned them to the company, so they can add the lining in. So here we are a week b4 I planned on mailing my invitations out, and STILL NO ENVELOPES I called on Friday, they said the company assured them I'd have them today, well today comes and I call again, and they don't have them and they promised me they'll have them by Thursday. But I dont know what to think anymore, and I still would need to get these printed and all... what am i gonna do?

THE STORE JUST CALLED MY ENVELOPES ARE HERE! THE STORE TOLD THE MANUFACTURER IF THEY CANT HAVE THEM FOR TODAY THEY'RE RETURNING THE INVITES THAT THEY'RE USELESS WITHOUT ENVELOPES, AND THE COMPANY FINISHED THEM LAST NITE, AND SENT THEM NEXT DAY!!! YIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

stay on top of that company! and don't be nice! get your envelopes! as for printing, i think most services can have a quick turn around, but if you have someone picked out to do your addresses you may want to give them a heads up. and i would talk to your stationary store, they should be helping you and on the invite company's case!

it WILL be a-ok!! keep it together and don't stress too much, all will be ok.

I'm trying to keep it together, but now even if I get them on Thursday, I just called Inkspun to see how quickly they can get it done, and they're on vacation until the 27th...

You should also demand that they give you a discount for the unacceptable delays and inconvenience this has caused you.



You may also want to try to contact the company yourself, to make sure that the stationary store did what they said they were going to.



One more -- demand that the enveloped be fedexed to you (at the stationary store's expense) so you can get them as soon as possible

You need to be firm with them! That is not acceptable - ask to talk to a manager.
