Curly Hair Girls...HELP
I know I've asked this before .. but I need to ask again:
Please share places you LOVE getting your curly hair cut .. and by whom.
I've been delaying getting a cut hoping a schedule change would allow me to stick with where I go .. but I am now desperately in need of a cut, and I don't think I can really delay it much longer.
Also .. can anyone share curly photos .. shoulder-length or longer .. that has a sophisticated look without looking too "done."

I'd prefer to stay between Roosevelt Field & Smithhaven Mall .. with a salon that is open 7 days.

Cactus Hair PLus in Dix Hills - Peter is part owner and cuts my hair. Carol Renee is also good. Dont think they personally work 7 days (LOL) but the salon is open 7 days - I LOVE going SUnday mornings for a hair cut!

Where in Dix Hills are they?
I had a really bad experience with a Cactus Salon & Day Spa, across from the Bonwitt Inn. The bad experience was not a haircut, but really rude receptionists. I refuse to ever go back to this place the way I was treated, and almost don't even want to consider any Cactus .. but maybe I will.

Oh no no that's not them. They are on Jericho Tpke in Dix Hills. They are next to a Pathmark supermarket. Their # is (631) 423-7110 I'm actually going there tonight for a hair cut...a badly needed on!! LOL

i have to say that i have been to two people who did a nice job. one i still go to. the other i don't know where she is. she had a baby and i never went back to the salon.
anyway, i loooove melanie at the cactus on new york ave, in huntington. there are three in hunt. one on wall st., an express on new york ave, and the one i go to is by the bakery near the cemetary. she does a really nice job and with what i've been doing to it lately, i can sleep on it and it can look nice the next day.
