Spinoff to don's post on parents

If you had children, who would they be granted to in your will?

One night I asked DH this question, he said his best friend and his wife, which I thought was weird, I said why? he replied they take great care of Porkchop(their pug) so DH will probably be left out of that decision making

Re: Spinoff to don's post on parents

DH's brother & sister-in-law or my cousin & her husband.
I have a brother who has no desire to settle down with a serious girlfriend (he's 32) so I don;t think I'd make him settle down with children! As much as I love him and know he's very good with kids ... I wouldn't be able to do that to him or my children (future children that is)...

Re: Spinoff to don's post on parents

I have no idea. It occured to me yesterday that I wouldn't even know to have as Godparents.

I thikn while my parnets are young enough, I'd have them, or DH's, but my dad loves kids, & my mom doesn't work, so I think they'd be good.

My brother isn't really an option, so maybw my couisn whow as my MOH, but at this poitn she lives in CA & wouldn't wnat them to live so far away from the rest of the family.

We also have friends that might be a possiblity, b/c they are about our age, are expecting a child right now actaully, and currently live in the same town as us and will probably aslo raise their children Episcopalian.

Probably my sister and brother in law. We haven't discussed it though. Neither of his sisters are married yet.
