What do you think about a suit instead of a tux??

My FM is thinking about wearing a Suit instead of a Tux. I really dont know if I should agree. We are looking to do it @ the Atlantica so I dont know how appropiate it would be.

What do my board girls think???

I don't know what your venue is like, but I've been to weddings where the groom wears a suit and it looks just fine. It depends on what kind of tone you want to set for your wedding. A friend of mine wore a suit to his wedding because they're both pretty laid-back people, but they were having a traditional Catholic mass and a sit-down, formal reception and wanted to put in little touches to make it more casual instead of over-the-top formal.

some of the tuxes are a lot less formal looking than they used to be. some of them look like suits maybe you can compromise

My FH will be wearing a suit instead of a tux. But we are having a Sunday morning wedding and that just seems to be less formal.

My FH and groomsmen will be wearing suits.
I've been to lots of weddings where the
groom wore a suit.

we are using suits. They are very formal, but we just liked the suit much better than the tux.
