Re: OOT guest bags must or not?
I have been to weddings without them and I haven't missed them. I am doing them, but I only have a handful of people. With that many people, I wouldn't worry about it- save yourself the work!

Re: OOT guest bags must or not?
i think you should do what you Want to do, but i DO think its a nice gesture.
i think some people get carried away with them.... and That's fine- whatever makes each bride happy is what really matters, but theyre really not that big of a headache to do.
We had plain Blue gift bags, and we went to BJs the other night and got the following and put one of each in the bag:
Poland Spring bottles Sierra mist cans combo's rice krispie treats Nutra grain bars tic tacs Pringles cheese crackers w/ peanut butter bite size snickers and Hershey kisses alka seltzer packets (2 pcks each)
and it was around $80 for 18 bags!!! (we already had the bags, but those are so cheap to buy a package of)
we basically put in food that you would want after a night of drinking. I didnt see the need to go crazy with it... just stuff that would fulfill the needs of the guests that night

That's not a bad idea...i was getting carried away with personalized labels and stuff like that...maybe i'll just go to the dollar store to buy the bags? Thanks for the advice!

Yeah.... i was starting to get carried away with the idea too,,, and then i was like "why the hel! am i going to give them a picture frame, etc..." it has absolutely Nothing to do with staying in a hotel.... i think its nice though to give them some treats for those late night cravings
