What was the WORST thing you did as a child?

My brother and I taped a piece of tape on the wall that had a line of ink on it - we wanted my mom to think that we wrote on the wall. well, our hands were dirty and we got the wall messed up anyway. We were soooo in trouble - she just painted it. I know, it's weak, but its a funny memory!

Did you ever go through a "bad" phase?

8th grade baby! After that, I was a straight arrow!

Worse thing I did as a child-

I broke one of my great-grandma's cup & saucers...My brother & I were throwing a ball around the living room & sure enough, I did not aim too well..


Bad Phase-

Hmm, never really had a bad phase, only did one horrible thing in HS & that was when I was 15...I had my friends in my room drinking while my parents were away & among those friends was the Vice Principal's son & of course my MOH...Luckily my brother never told on me!

Worst thing I ever did?

Told my mom that I WAS allowed to drive at night with a permit. (My mom isn't from this country and does not know the customs all to well. I'm the oldest so she relied on me to tell her what was right and wrong regarding teenagers ) You aren't allowed to drive at night with a leraners permit but I said you were and would take her car out and cruise the "Blvd" with my best friend abd partner in crime...I feel bad about it now

I never really went through a bad phase per say...I had my moments when I thought I was right and my mother was wrong but I think everyone goes through it...

By the way...my mom was right about EVERYTHING...I realize this at age 27

Worst thing --

The only thing that comes to mind is when I was very young, I wanted to surprise my mother by doing the laundry. I added bleach to the load and everything was ruined!!

Bad phase --

8th and 9th grade -- I was a total burnout/hung with bad crowd. I had a blast though!!

Now I'm a goody two-shoes.

We lived in a cape, with only 1 bathroom, and I locked the door to the bathroom, because my imaginary friend had to go.
My parents were not happy . . .


Did you ever go through a "bad" phase?
I would have to say 9th & 10th I hung out with a more undesirable crowd, but I did a lot of things my parents didn't know about - so I could probably extend the "bad" phase throughout college

Worst thing -

I was actually a teenager when i did this. My brother was in the bathroom one morning taking forever (if you know what i mean) and i had to go to work and he wouldn't get out so i was banging on the door sooo hard that I put a hole in the bathroom door. My mom was so angry with me because she had to replace that door, plus all the other doors in the hallway (6 doors) because she wanted all the doors to match.

Bad Phase-

I guess everyone has some sort of bad phase. I used to just hang out with my friends and experiment on drinking and smoking and lying to my parents about everything.

Worst thing- my older sister and I convinced my younger sister that she was adopted! It wasn't nice and I still feel horrible about it to this day.

I never really went through a bad phase. I did tell l"ittle white lies "when I was in high school, like telling my mother I was sleeping over my best friend's house when I was really sleeping over my boyfriend's house! But that's about all.

Lame - smoking in the bathroom. I got caught by my parents and they made me inhale VERY deeply. I never smoked again.

Worst thing I did as a child- I decided that our tv screen needed to be decorated so I stuck $200 worth of stamps on it.

Bad Phase- When I was 17 I took my mom's brand new Pathfinder for a joyride (my mom was in Las Vegas) and crashed it into a pole. The money my mom won in Vegas went towards the repairs. I was a bad girl.

Worst thing was probably when I broke my older sister's arm because I didn't like a call she made while we were playing tennis. Or when I knocked out her front tooth while horsing around in the pool. Or when I hit her with a basketball in the mouth on the same day she got her braces put on.

Go figure - today she's my best friend in the world - and obviously very forgiving.

I was always a good girl - I just didn't know my own strength. No bad phase, just a series of "unfortunate accidents".

Worst: My cuz was throwing pebbles at me so I picked up the biggest rock I could find and threw it at my cousins head...he had to get stitches.

Worst thing:
I guess I kind of went through a phase when I was 4 or so... I enjoyed eating English Muffins right out of the fridge (not cooked). But I never finished them.. So I would put the rest of it under the couch! Needless to say, Momma found my collection one day while she was vacuuming.....

Bad Phase:
This ones a little easier... my parents divorced when I was an infant.. so when I was 14 my mom started dating my stepdad, and I was NOT PLEASED! I didn't share very well.. Afterall, she was all mine for 14 years!


PS: Hey Kissy.. you left out the part where they decorated your room with unmentionables...AHHHHH... those were the days:) That night made the yearbook!

I was pretty horrible to my younger sister. We used to physically fight....we get along better now though


Did you ever go through a "bad" phase? No...other than fighting with my sister, I never broke rules or anything. I was a really good kid.

I Stole erasers with my friend from the prize closet in the lunch room. I felt awful for like 3 days till i confessed to my mother...then went in the next day and confessed to my teacher. I had to go speak to the principal....it was awful

i let my brothers do the bad phase thing...i was PERFECT hahaha

I posted this before but .....I wanted a piece of candy from the jar that was "hidden" on top of the fridge. Well I hopped on a chair and leaned my foot on the wall table in the kitchen. BAD IDEA! My mother's newly washed china came CRASHING down. She only had the sugar bowl and 2 salad plates left! SHE has NEVER let me live it down. She has suggested I register for 2 sets so I can replace her's!

I guess my bad phase was really the time I spent in public Junior High. Let's just say I had to go to an all girls catholic high school after that! BUT thank goodness my Dad did send me!

always a goody 2 shoes - except in high school when i smoked cigarettes and mom caught me - but i was still always good and hung with a polite and nerdy crowd
