Live in Queens and just had my DREAM NYC wedding on November 4!!! Reception was at the Marriott East Side, but I wouldn't recommend them. My photographer was AAAMMMMMMAAAAZING! Definitely recommend him - he is based our of NYC and Brooklyn.

Can you guys recommend wedding/craft shops for miscellaneous items in Manhattan?
I have nowhere else to shop for wedding items so I've visited Saks multiple times already. I end up buying nothing for the wedding but walk out with a lot of other stuff!
The Wedding Library (Saks) quoted me $91 per invitation! Insane!

We are getting married at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains. It is about 15 minutes from Glen Island. We usually rent a car when we have gone up there because we usually try to do a bunch of things. How do you get around up there if you take the train?
