SERIOUSLY.... Do people live under rocks?
Tonight at work I was talking to this guy. He is about 27. We were talking about the death penalty. I said I am so glad that Scott Peterson got the death penalty. He looks at me with the most serious face and says "who is scott pet.... whats his name peterson"  I looked at him and said "you ARE kidding right" and he again so clueless says "no really who is he?"  I then proceeded to tell him the story about how his wife disappeared on Christmas eve she was 8 months preggo he called his girlfriend from his wifes candlelight vigil and told her he was in Paris.... BLAH BLAH BLAH her poor baby connor washed up onto the shore and then she did. HE HAD NO CLUE...  He said "Well I don't watch TV" OK IT WAS EVERYWHERE... PLUS we work in a supermarket that has ever Tabloid magazine in creation which he was on every cover of...
Two other people walked by and we asked them. They didnt recognize the name. (one asked me if he was famous a celebrity) But at least when I started telling the story they knew who he was.

Mike was like they had to be joking with u. I was like he definetly was serious. I can tell when he is making things up and he definetly wasnt.

I have a friend who is the same way. She lives in the City and I kid around with her by saying that she will one day be standing next to a celebrity and not even know it.
