Best NYC Salons to Try dresses tomorrow!!
Hey,
I have until the end of this weekend to decide on a dress. ..wedding in april and will be ordering online. Interested in Watters style dresses. Have been to RK - madhouse and will go back there tomorrow a.m but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions for NYC as I know I will be lucky to even get an appointement at this stage...I need to make this decision this weekend and would like to be happy with I decide on....thanks..

bridal building- not sure of the exact site - but if you searcht he internet it comes up- no appointments needed on saturday - not opened on sunday

rk bridal and the bridal buildings (i've only been to rk though) are the only ones that i can think of... good luck!!
this is the bridal buildings info:
New York City is the town for a gown. In Manhattan,
there's a district for everything -- from lamps to pizza ovens
to photo studios to wedding dresses. Gowns for every
female in the wedding party are available on Broadway
in (or near) 2 buildings:1375 Broadway & 1385 Broadway
[between West 36-40 Streets]. Saturday mornings
at 9:00, you'll find a tribe of women of all ages waiting
outside these "bridal buildings" about to open. You
can spend an entire day in one of these vertical malls,
parading from floor to floor, trying to outfit everyone
from flower girls to mother-of-the-groom.

You need to call ASAP and make appts at these places-- they may not even have openings for tomorrow. YOu should take a da off of work and do it during the week.

Designer Loft is a good place. The girls there are great! Also, Mark Ingram has some nice dresses.

i just thought of this following place. the designer is mika inatome and she's designed for ume katsura for 15 years. her gowns range from $2-5k i think. my friend was told that she can have a gown made in 4 weeks!!
i'm also in the process of searching for a gown, pretty much all bridal salons i've called are booked solid for the weekends.

Thank you all so much.... I think I will do RK and the bridal building as my budget is under $1500. Just bought a house so would rather spend the rest at Pottery Barn Will let you know monday how it goes....hopefullly the decision will be made and I will have ordered something!!
