Fox Hollow or Woodbury CC
Which one has better service? Better food? Which would be the better choice? Opinions anyone???

The Fox Hollow is like a fairytale... It is owned by the Scotto Bros. My fiance and I worked for them for a few years and all 4 of their catering halls are amazing. The food is great and so is the service.

They both have very different atmospheres. I liked Woodbury CC because of the beautiful grounds. I was very tempted to book WCC just to get married on the wooden gazebo. Lots of places to take nice pictures.
Fox Hollow just wasn't my style, but the menu looked really yummy. There isn't much of an outdoor area, but it's right next to the Fox Hollow Inn, which might be convenient if you have lots of OOT guests.
From what I remember, WCC is a little less expensive and you seem to get a lot for your money. Both places have more than one wedding at a time.
Let us know what you pick!

I went to fox hollow for new years and loved it! good food and the rooms are beautiful. i've never been to WCC so i can't help there. good luck!

I went to a wedding at Fox Hollow last yea. I liked the food for the CH but the food for the reception, I thought it was not to my liking. Perhaps it has a lot to do with what the bride chose as her menu. As far as the service is concerned, we only saw the waitstaff to order our choice for dinner. They never refill the glasses of water, never asked to get drinks, never folded the napkins on the table as people went on dancing. This to me are things that are important but may not be to other people. But there are many brides on here that have gotten married and rave about it.
I loved WCC and its ambiance and I love the grounds. So I'm biased about that.
And as far as $$$, I got quoted $110 before taxes and gratuities from May forward before at the WCC. My understanding is that Fox Hollow is about $90 before taxes and gratuities ofcourse....I don't think it is any cheaper. I guess it is all relative to what month/year you get married in terms of pricing for all these venues. Either place, you will choose the one that is right for you and you will have a great wedding regardless of where it is. Good Luck !

I am somewhat biased because I am a Fox Hollow bride. But so far everything has been wonderful. Capulet72 was just there recently and only had good things to say. A friend of mine was there a few weeks ago for a wedding and couldn't stop raving about it. I am pretty confident that the food and service will be extraordinary.
I am having nothing but positive experiences with the BM at Fox Hollow. He has been reassuring and spent a lot of time with us.
I think you should contact both places and visit them. Also see if you can taste the food. There are reviews on many of the halls so if you have time, check them out.
Good luck making your decision.

I have had dinner at the Fox Hollow and it was delicious. But the food at the WCC was out of this world at the tasting and I fell in love with the grounds and the feel of the place.

I searched many catering halls for my wedding. The Woodbury CC was the last one I went to and I absolutely loved it. They gave me an amazing price since it is December but they give you the most for your money. I have never been to the Fox Hollow so I can not give it a fair judgement.
Also Dominick at the WCC was a huge part of why I booked there. He was just so great to us and he even fed my fiance and I along with both of our parents after he showed us the rooms. We were very impressed with the way that they handle themselves.
