I'd love to get one for my FH.... it will be one of the last decisions I make depending on $$ left over from everything else  But I'm planning on it.

OMG, I didn't think about doing this, but now I am. This could be a little surprise to FH! FH loves icecream too, but wouldn't it melt. For his b'day I HAVE to get him an icecream cake or else he is pitiful.
Do people mind stating how much they actually paid for the cake? I'm trying to figure out if I can budget $50 for this.
My idea is to do a basketball all-star jersey cake with our last name on it. "THE ______" and under it can be #1 or our date. Does this sound like something I can get for $50?

$3-$5 a slice? Wow. I guess I wouldn't want the cake to feed everyone. Even if it was only a small cake for 50 people that's $150-$250. Too much for me.
