What's the status with everyone? What else do you have left to do?

I have:
Precana (going Feb. 26)
Shoes (mine, BM)
Finish getting all the GM measured
Get Mom to order a dress
Menu
Invitations (that's next on the list)
Finalized guestlist
Finish sending out STD (I know. I know. But I'm STILL collecting addresses from the parents).
Veil, headpiece (but I think I know what I want)
Timeline of day
Make-up Artist (my sister goes for a trial on Saturday since I live OOT)
Book Hair Appointment (I know who I want. Just need to book it)

What am I missing? We have done:

We haven't decided on a day yet - either 6/5 or 6/12 but will know this week for sure

Let's see, I still have to:

-Get gifts for the bridal party
-Get my shoes, undergarments, etc.
-Schedule my first fitting (not until two months prior to the wedding)
-Meet with the music director from our church
-Book a hotel room for our wedding night
-Have a meeting with our florist to finalize flowers, colors, etc.
-Order our cake topper and guest book platter
-Finish registering
-Send envelopes to the calligrapher
-MOB/MOG still need gowns (yikes!)
-Tuxedoes

To Do: Tuxes, Hair trial, final meeting with officiant/music coordinator, map out directions for invitations, GM/reader/parent gifts, my second pair of shoes, little accessories (garter, guestbook, 6 pence, etc), programs, dress fittings, address and mail invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, final meetings with vendors, day of timeline.

Everything else is basically done since I am planning from VA trying to get as much done early as I can.


3/28/05 check in:

To Do: GM/reader/parent gifts, programs, dress fittings, complete directions for invitations and send them out, rehearsal dinner invitations, putting ribbons on bubbles, complete assembly of favors (put jordan almonds in bags, put bags in martini glasses and wrap up), final meeting with vendors, day of timeline, get back on bc!

STDs are going out this week. But no dress, no florist, no photographer...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I feel so overwhelmed most of the time. FI has been great and thank goodness I found LIWeddings.com!

I'm stuffing the STDs right now. One less thing to do. I'm off to RK Bridal tomorrow. I've been to a bunch of dress places, including RK, Bride Atelier, and Kleinfeld and just can't decide. Too bad I'm so in desicive by nature. I wish I could hire one of you girls to do everything for me!

Oh man, this is gonna freak me out but I know I've gotta get this all written down. Here's what I can think of that I have yet to accomplish:

- find flower girl dresses
- make flower girl baskets
- my shoes and undergarments
- book hair & make-up people
- tuxedos
- order invitations and find calligrapher
- book musicians for ceremony & cocktail hour music
- pick out gifts for the bridal party
- help mom find a dress
- figure out favors & seating assignments
- book limos
- get our officiant (FH's best friend) ordained online!

I know I'm forgetting little things, but I guess that's it for the big stuff. Luckily I got a lot of things done bam bam bam in the beginning, so that has kept my freaking out at bay. I want it to be June already!
