I vote for the second one as well, given the kind of wedding you describe. I LOVE Watters dresses. My matron of honor is wearing one, too (I'm not having a bridal party with bridesmaids).

Thanks guys...funny I did a friends and family poll and it was split evenly down the middle. All the "girlie " girls liked #2 and the no nonsense types liked #1..I am somewhat in between both types.....I tried both on at RK over the weekend , but it was so busy there and I really rushed through the process and came home undecided.....Think if I did #2 I would have white embroidery instead of the color -silver / platinum. Also am not sure about the bustle....not big on the bustle idea....decisions, decsions and this dress is chepar to buy direct with net Bride...but seen as my wedding is in april I need to get my act together and order it this week..........aaaaaaaaaghh. I wish I could see this dress on an actual bride not a skinny gorgeous model.....

Thank you Summer 05 for posting the pics...you rock!!Now the dilemma is do I race back into the city - I am all the way out east - hamptons....so I can try both these dresses on again and maybe look  at them this time and not feel rushed.....maybe go to another store in the city besides RK as I may order it online anyway - Net bride has this for $630 and Rk wants $850...or I may order it through Phyliss at Gown finder - she gets great reviews here and she is in E. northport...OR do I just decide and stop confusing myself by trying on more dresses....BTW. I only tried on 3 dresses in this entire process and picked these 2 out of the 3......anyway getting the "confused and stressed" vibe from me yet??Thanks in advance...

Another east end bride!!  Maybe you can find a place closer that has both of them. their website says that bridal suite in patchogue and centereach both carry watters gowns as well as adriannes in islip. I would call them to see if they have them before going there. That way you could try them on again without having to go all the way into the city and then order it from netbride.

Hi..Unfortunately I called about 8/9 places out here and they dont carry these styles....feel now like I should have tried on more as there are parts to both dresses I like but feel like I will just settle on one as I am going to be too late to order if I dont... Thanks for the help..

Thank you all soooo much, you really are so helpful....I think I may go to one of the stores on L.I and try on some more... I just liked Watters from the beginning and thought my decision would be easy.....inexperienced bride!!Thank god we only do this once.....Will keep you guys updated..
