Pedestals Vs. Flowers By Brian..any info?

Please help me. I am considering these vendors because they can do this draping thing at my reception hall, and I don't know how to compare them. I think I've heard mutterings of problems with one of them, so if you know anything, please Fm. Thank!

I have to vote for Pedestals...I am working with Robert...He has been nothing but understanding & helpful...I met with him last week & he really helped me find exactly what I was looking for without spending too much $$....He will give you ideas but does not push them on you & make you feel that is what you need to have...I suggest giving him a call!

i'm using Pedestals, we are doing the draping, i haven't heard anything bad about either one, but i like Pedestals

We were told by both that draping at the North Ritz Club isnt worth the money FBB really wasnt into it and gave us 100 reasons why it would be a problem for them. They also mentioned that they couldnt even guarentee they would do it. We went to both and so far have deceided to go with Pedestals when we are ready to book because they where more interested in what we had to say and what we visioned. I liked Robert from FBB but he didnt have much of a personality and it bothered me that he was looking at the next client while talking to us and before we were even out of his office he was already over talking with them. I really think quality wise they are the same, price wise they are the same but I was more comfortable with Pedestals.

I booked with Pedestals and we have the fabric drapping . They gave a us a great price and spent a lot of time with us. Didn't get the warm and fuzzy feeling from Flowers By Brian.

I worked with Cynthia from FBB and she was very, Very good. I have an appt with Pedastals this Saturday...Then will make our decision. I will let you know...

I had Sunnie at the Queens location as well.
She was wonderful!!!

They did a wonderful job on my flowers.
I highly recommend them

I booked Pedestals also. I think they are great to work with. I don't know much about flowers by brian.

I used FBB for my flowers, Bobbie helped me, she was very patient and had some great ideas.

pedestals,...we met w/ Robert..like a previous post mentioned he is very attentive and offers creative ideas, and is not all pushy...

So all of you are doing the ceiling at NRC?? Me too. but I am doing white lights and tulle. And they have an hour and a half to get it up!!!

FYI - Flower Michele can do draping.

I also went to FBB and I had a bad experience with Brian. I might have caught him on an off day, but I had to wait almost 45 minutes for him and he kept telling me he was very busy with other people. Hello- why make my appt then?? Then finally he had another coordinator meet with me. She didn't listen to me at all, and pretty much told me what she was going to do for me. Their quote came in about $500 less than Flower Michele, but I felt like I was at a factory. BUT on the flip side - their flowers are beautiful. One of my BM's used him and loved him. Coincidentially, I just received 2 messages today from FBB following up from our meeting. FYI - I met with them in July!!!
