IMO, when you're dating, engaged to, or married to a "football guy", the Superbowl starts Sat. night (sleepless, in anticipation for the big game) and goes all the way through the following week, where he will converse with all the guys at work/7-11/the train station, etc. about who should've done what and been where at what time.
For the rest of us (those of us that have to provide the food for the superbowl party...yes, the food that goes unnoticed when there's beer and tv), it starts around 6ish.

FH just said that kickoff should be a little later this year...some pregame thingy.....so it should start around 6:35.
