If anyone is doing slipper baskets some ideas...
I had posted the other day about sayings and couldnt find any. So my mom made some up Wanted to share incase some of you are doing them and having trouble too. I will post a pic later, I did multiple saying so it can also be a conversational piece.
1) Slippers for your tired feet,
keep you dancing to the beat!!
2) When your shoes have had enough.
I will keep you standing up!!
3) Tired feet are such a bore,
I will keep you wanting more!!
4) Here I am to rescue you,
Keep you dancing to the tune!!
5) Place me on your feet,
I will keep you dancing to the beat!!
6) Comfort is my name,
keeping you dancing is my game!!
there are more and after each I put Compliments of the Newlyweds!!

I'm probably going to do a slipper basket, but I don't want to do a rhyming thing with it. So, I will just leave some kind of note saying, "The bride and groom hope that you are having a great time. Feel free to change into a pair of these slippers at any time during the wedding....
...or MAYBE the note should say, "Hey, those are gorgeous shoes you are wearing. Here are some slippers in case they don't feel as great as they look."
I'm just not feeling the rhyming thing. Somone help me with the wording!!!
P.S. I want the Mary Jane style slippers AKA Kung Fu Slippers. I was thinking of going to Canal Street for them.

Ok, but those are very long sentences. Most of your guest wont know what the slippers are for and the tags are usually not big enough for a lot of wording. If you dont like the ryhmes do a 1 liner. your giving too information for people who will be drinking.  Unless you put a frame next to it and I think most people will miss it. After a few drinks people dont read much but rhymes they do. Its a catchy thing.

b/c I am getting married in a hall that has 2 affairs mine are going next to the guest polaroid table. NOt in the bathroom as other guest may take them.
