Location: Milleridge Cottage	Re: convertible car seats I guess you always hear about Britax getting the best marks - and that its the most expensive. The ratings are based on safety, how easy they are to install and how it fits your vehicle. Britax did very well in all categories. Also, they are very very plush. Quite comfy Im sure. Another car seat that gets really good marks is Evenflo Triumph. Its nowhere near as plush and apparently more difficult to work with but as far as safety goes, it got really good marks. Its about $125 You can get car seats for less money on line than you can in the store. With free shipping most of the time. I got a Britax Marathon for my daughter on line for about $199 vs. the store which is $260 plus tax. HTH
