Re: Groomsmen or ushers

I believe that the groomsmen are the ones that walk with the bridemaids and the ushers can walk up the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom, grandmothers ect.

Some people call them all ushers. I guess it is up to you.
I would get groomsmen.

Re: Groomsmen or ushers

Groomsmen are the male equivalent of bridesmaids.

Ushers are generally male guests/relatives/friends who are special/related to the couple but are not in the wedding party. They seat guests and then sit down with the guests during the service. Although you can have groomsmen serving as ushers as well.

Re: Groomsmen or ushers

I will have the "Groomsmen" greet guests at the church entrance and walk the ladies/female guests (by arm) and dates down the aisle to their seats.

I thought this looked very classy when I went to my friend's wedding.
