Im so sick, so I dont mind another days rest, but Im not for a snow day, because I would rather have the days off in May. My district allots us 2 days for Memorial Day break. If we use 2 snow days we dont get a 5 day weekend.

you are so lucky- in my district, if we dont use the snow days we lose them!!!! Our district has alotted us three snow days so one right now woudnt be so bad. We never have off the Friday before memorial Day- I wish they would negotiate that into our next contract!

WE usually do too but not this year, no Feb break and only Memorial Day off. So if we take a snow day comes right off our April break Once every 8 years we get screwed with this

i dont understand why some districts have the February break and some dont htis year. what happened. Our district had the break but many don't.

Kristi because Easter is in March this year and Passover is still in April. So in my district since we have a half Jewish half Christian popultion when it happens they remove Feb break and make it in March- it's great if you are going to go away because the rates are cheaper but it stinks otherwise
