Can I vent about my job and life today....
Okay, not only do I have a crappy job with lousy pay, I had to work today even though I have had a TOTAL of one call (besides DH who is home without me). I just got news I could leave early at 5 (an ENTIRE half hour early) I am just so frustrated; DH and I are both struggling at our jobs and there is so much stress in my life right now. Now tomorrow, the office will be busy as hell after all my tenants and vendors got to enjoy their long weekend. Did I mention my building is almost completely empty? I just had to vent, I literally feel as though I am going to have a stroke sometimes.

Sorry Kathleen....Hang in there, I know it is frustrating. At least you have a chance to play on here...play some games, make some calls, try to make the most of the situation today. I used to work at a job like that. On Christmas Eve they'd "let us" leave "early"---at 4:30...thanks a lot (why bother at that point)?
The day is almost over....

Awww. Thanks ladies. Don't mean to sound like a whiny baby but I have had so much stress so far in the New Year. I feel sometimes that my heart is just going to give out. At least I have DH though; to make me feel better he is cleaning the apt right now. I had to put him to work some time!!!

Hang in there and try to focus on the positive (maybe there are nice people, a good commute, good benefits)

The day-to-day can get so stressful sometimes so it's important to have an outlet like this one! I think you should have your DH give you a nice back rub tonight since you had to work all day.
