Spinoff: If you are trying to stick to your minimium garauntee, how many ppl are you inviting?
it is so hard to judge how many peopl ewill say no.
I only want 225 (our minimum) and I was thinking of inviting 260 but some days that seems like too many to me. Maybe I will invite 250 and send them out early...that way if there are lots of no's I can send out more, like a "B" list a little late.
What do you guys think?

i have to guan 200ppl
our guest list is about 250-275
plus we have to invite his fam from Italy
which i hope they dont come because thats another 50 people lol
i say at least 50 pp will say no
im going to send out invites early too
this way if i dont have my 200 im going to invite more people from work
im going to call that list "desperato" lol

Me too i am hoping most of my OOT people dont come or just dont bring there kids i have like 20 cousins. i am hoping for alot at least 20 nos...... i am praying for it my room would be too crowded if i had the max which is 146
12 tables with 12 people and then me and my fh.
i really want less....

I'm in the same boat as you -- my FH has alot of family in Italy. I think MAYBE only one can come so it's not really an issue.
I have to guarantee 125 and I'm inviting about 200.

Inviting about 200 - - but many are OOT obligatory invitations (they'd die if they didn't get extended the courtesy of an invitation).

We have about 175 on the list for a 160 minimum...The difference with us, our wedding is just basically immediate family so we are expecting little "no's"

We're inviting 220...our min is 175...which actually worked out because our orignal list was 175...I then had a B List that I was going to use, but since we have to guarantee 175, we just put them on the list for a total number of 220...now if I could only predict how many are going to say no...I could splurge in other areas...lol

Right now our invite list is at 175. I don't think we will have to invite many more... I would love it if we only invited 100!! Right now I think we'll have about 150 guests. Here's hoping!
