What Vendor Are You Working On Now!?
Me?
All about Photographer. And I want it done by end of February!
Tho, I DID look into bands (even tho I am having a DJ  ) and flowers. But I stopped that and am seriously on the photog. curcuit.
Looking at Duval next week, Duet, 12th Night, SilverFox, and anyone else that I see at a show.

I am working on a Photographer right now. I have an appt with Jessica Photography at the end of the month.
I booked our DJ this week too. In the past two month FH and I went to a wedding and a children's party where they were the DJ and they were really good. So that was a no brainer for us!

flowers I will wait a while for and I already know which centerpieces I want. I guess I should start looking at invitations

I am on florists now & should have that done once my cousin calls me back!
Then it is off to do band or DJ
Once that is done, I am going to sit tight & enjoy again...Hoping that by the 1 year mark, I am done with the majority of the planning

You're going to love Marie from Wild Rose. She is so sweet. Other than the hall Wild Rose Video was the first vendor we booked.

I saw that their video starts at $1900 which is ok considering we already had a videographer who we are willing to pay $2k..but also know his work is amazing. I hear Wild Rose is worth it.

okay so i am going to have my photographer booked 12th night.
then i think the dj would be another thing to book next so far i only saw body rock, i want to meet with high voltage sounds everyone raves about him on here.
then florist i met with a few so far and i think i have made up my mind with that.
My video i think i am going to ask my uncle to do this unless my budget opens up a bit. my uncle is a camera man for nbc so im sure he will do a great job. just for the ceremony and important parts thats all.
i dont need limos, and what else.......
it is going to be an expensive year.

I think the only thing we have solidified is our videographer. Our friend has agreed to do it for us, since he works in the industry. I am still trying to find a reception hall. I called my church today and reserved my date!!! Now I just have to book the hall. Ugh!

I'm taking a break too - but I think the next thing is going to be band/dj. Which is going to be REALLY hard because FH is in the music business and is very particular about music. I'm not sure if he quite understands that people aren't coming to sit and listen to music, they want to dance and have a good time. I am a littile apprehensive we might have a few arguments over this. Does anyone know of Bands or dj's that are good but not over the top/ cheesy/typical wedding band stuff?

Band....got the church and reception hall...hope to have a band booked by the end of January. Then it's on to photographer. I am taking it one vendor at a time.
