what kind of pictures did you put in your album?

Especially if you had a photojurnalsit and/or a small album.

We had a traditional photographer & a photojournalist.

I like a lot of the action shots, the bp & moms 7 grandmas walking into the church, people blowing bubbles at us as we leave the church, a couple of receiving line pictures.
This is making my album large- I'm ok with upgrading from 30 -40 pictures, but I still didn't put any of the posed shots befor ethe reception. Wasn't that the whole point of that hour?

I looked at my friends' album Sunday & they have mostly posed shots.
I can't decide if I need a posed picture of our familes, or is having them walking into the churh is enough.

We're doing a mix. All photos will be in the order of the day and we will mix the progression ones with the posed. The album will tell the story of our day.

I think that's what I want to do- a mix, I just want to make sure it flows & try to keep it to 40 pictures.

Wendy thanks so much for sharing your album! That really helped. I like that style better than the traditonal way my friends went. There is a lot of motion in your pictures, which makes it really feel like you were there. You had lot more pics than I will though.

ETS: Sorry Tourist, I don't really have any advice - I'm still trying to pick out my album pics and go through an all-out rearrangement every couple of days.

And I think if I had more restriction on the size, I would have cut more of the posed than the spontaneous ... the album consultant at my photographer's was AMAZING though, so I would even suggest putting together as many as you think you want and let them help you ...

Well, be firm on what your limit is not which pictures!



I was lucky I had XXXX amount of credit to spend to make my album and with all those pics and an 8x8 album with 20 pics for my mom, I only went over by $116!!

umm only 40 pictures - oh goodness i couldnt have ever handles narrowing it to 40 pictures
we have 150 in ours and it is all digitally done so multiple ones can be on a page - we picked everything we liked using some as bacground and others faded into it
we had both a photographer and a photojournalist also - and am really glad we went with both
