So we did our Focus test and discussion today....
and I have to say, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The couple we did it with said we had one of the highest scores they've ever seen in the fourteen years they've been doing this Oh, and we got lectured on our lack of church attendance, but other than that, I think it just confirmed to both JT and me, that we really do have great communication skills. There was not one thing on the test that we have not already discussed. They break it down into categories and then you get a percentage for each category, and they had hardly anything to talk to us about because we scored all 100s except on the church things and one other question that JT misunderstood It was kind of funny. But I'm relieved it's over.

LOL when we went by FH didnt know that family planning meant birth control so our host couple was all concerned that we never spoke about wanting kids LOL.
WE got like the highest score they ever saw ij finances which is so typical because we always analyze everything to the penny

I cant wait to hear and go over ours, I took it like 2 months ago allready at st brgids in westbury. our first mass for pre cana starts next sunday.

They didn't ask if we were having sex, they just had questions like:
Do you have anxiety about seeing your future spouse nude?
Are you open to trying new sexual techniques in your relationship?
Do you feel a healthy sexual relationship is important in a marriage?
Things like that, and they were all agree, disagree or uncertain questions. There was nothing that specifically asked about us having pre-marital sex, and we were completely honest with the people. The woman actually was very down to earth, her husband seemed very by the book Catholic, but we told them that we do not really feel religion plays a big part in our lives, and she said that she doesn't so much think that we need to feel like religion takes precedence in our lives as long as we feel like we're living life to be better people. They were down to earth and made us feel comfortable being honest.
