My mom had one also!!!

She sent out a shower invitation to a friend of mine, forgot to include the shower invitation but remembered to:

1. Address to the wrong last name
2. Put LIRR Schedule in it!
and of course, the FORTUNOFF Registry card!!!!!!

Funny now! Embarrassing earlier!

Ok, another crazy dream....I walk down the aisle with my dad, and when we get to the altar, i look at him and hes eating grapes!!! And Im like what are you doing???? So I take the grapes away, and then the roof opens up and it starts snowing on my head......at my July wedding.......Therapy please.......

Today I had THE bridal meltdown moment!!!!!
Remembered about this thread.. so here it is.

I am on the phone with the band (trying to figure out what time to comein) and am walking into the parking lot to get into my car. I use my keys to open the door and get in to the car - still talking. I put my key in the ignition, and the car DOES NOT start!!!! I start to freak out! Hang up on the band, and start hysterically balling that my car does not start and I have no way to get home, and I need my car! After freaking out, i noticed something different in the car. I didn't remember it that clean!

IT TURNS OUT I GOT INTO THE WRONG CAR!!!

I was in a BMW!!!!! And, my car is gray, the Beemer was BLACK!!!!!!

I wish my key started the beemer!

I've had two so far:

1--really wanted to take a loss on our deposits and elope instead. I can't quite remember what the cause was, but I think it was a combination too much stress at work/difficult family/trouble finding musicians we liked

2--This weekend. FH and I redid our direction cards (the ones we got from our place looked nice, but were not very good in terms of directions). We were just about finished, and I was futzing with some minor design detail and Word crashed! I had not saved, and we lost all the work. I started saying "Oh sh**" over and over and was nearly in tears. FH came in the room and said he would redo them if I finished dinner. Seemed like a good deal, so that is what we did.

me and FH he is so clueless he is going to tell me this wedding stuff is stressing me out. I wanted to punch him when he said that.

Like I am not stressed I deal with this stuff 24/7 and I ask him to do one thing and he says it is starting to stress him out AHhhhhhh I just get mad again just thinking about it

I had one when I fell in love with the BM dresses and they were all like it's nice.. I was like its not nice.. it's perfect, its beautiful I love it.. and when I had problems.. i just felt like giving up!!!

Also, we found out that our response card envelops had the wrong zip code printed on them I just started panicking and was like asking my FH what are we going to do and I wanted to break down and cry over envelops!!

not a meltdown moment but yet another dream...i went to my parents and saw the refrigerator with only one container of sauce in it and some milk. when i asked where is all your food? they said, "hello, we're planning a wedding here"...oh my. i felt so guilty.

I remembered that I had to get my car inspection done soon so I looked at the sticker and it said 05/02/05. Plenty of time right? Well this morning I come out to a $110 ticket on my windsheild for expired inspection. Well good ole' bride brain was reliable to remember to check the date BUT FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CAR!!!!

Yesterday, We were talking about wedding details, and I was talking about my birthday and how it falls the week we get back from the honeymoon.

I kept saying, "so on the 26th, my birthday, we can go out." over and over. FH kept looking at me going "you sure you want to go out on the 26th? Not the 24th?"

I realized then, I forgot the date of my birthday in my temporary insanity.

I FORGOT MY BIRTHDAY!
I thought that was a meltdown moment.

Here's a bridal meltdown moment that should benefit me and the world that I am torturing...

I have been going back and forth on a decision of whether to have a day of coordinator. I wanted one but FH and my family keep insisting that it's an unnecessary expense. I work full time and go to school full time and I have classes up until the night before my wedding! My time is very limited! So, a couple of nights ago I had a dream (that seemed so real) that on the night of my ceremony, the room was not ready, the chairs were all mismatched and the owner of the hall (if he reads this, sorry Tony!) was drunk!! So dressed in my wedding gown, I start to clean and set up the room for my ceremony, crying the whole time. Somehow we get through the ceremony - flash ahead to the reception. In place of my DJ is a three (senior citizen) man band - they all have ukuleles! I run away from my wedding screaming and crying! I wake up shaking and with an awful headache.

I convinced FH the next day that the entire wedding fiasco was all his fault (yes, I know it was only a dream) and he has given in and approved the coordinator.
