Update: I hate Davids Bridal (not anymore)
I hate them. I hate them so much. Ok I am just blowing steam. Today one of my bridesmaids called me and told me that the dress I want them to get, the color is discontinued. But I had my name there with the dress and color I requested. Not only that, but when I was there, I noticed they had the color on the rack but not in their cataloge or online. The lady told me it was fine though. And did they call me to tell me it was discontinued? No. So now I have to find another dress among all the other things I have been doing. So far I have called about 6 david bridals to see if they have the sizes I am looking for and they only have 1 size, size 8. Tomorrow I am calling their customer service to beg for help.
Ok, now off to figure out what else I can do.
So here is the update. Thankfully, the girl up here in Albany was realy nice and searched around for the dresses in other stores. Now I have them all and they are more than 50% less than origanally! But I still wish they had called me or something.

No we have not found an apt. We are going down again this weekend.
As for the location. We went to the one in Albany, where I am. And now I have been calling all over the place, including LI. It is just not happening.

yes davids is VERY ghetto. i did business with them for my girls and they are the most unprofessional staff EVER! they are lacking in major customer servise skills, memory skills and most of all class. I WOULD NEVER recommend Davids again to anyone they are a nightmare! (and im just not talking about the business the ladies that work there as well) OMG What trash!

There are a lot of ladies here that have used Davids without one single problem. But I think its really a hit or miss with Davids.

I don't think they're ghetto. The location I went to(I went there twice), we couldn't have been treated better. They were patient with me. When I wanted a veil and tiara to try on with my dress, the let me us one. I had two sales people who were the sweetest. My sister used the NJ location and the sales people were just as nice.

I went to the one in carle place had a good experience till last thursday when my dress came in WRONG and the WRONG size!!! not mad but the right one better be here in Jan as promised then Ill be mad, now I have to find someone to do alterations. kinda afraid to have them do it.

i had all my girls alterations done there and 4 out of 6 were messed up. I guess its the luck of the drawer. But they do need to be reported to BBB you are right. They are very unorganized, very rude.. My poor bridesmaid was spoken to like a piece of Sh*T. So I told her to complain on the woman.. So thankfully she did.. I NEVER complain to managers but we we just spend $700 on dresses and 600 on shoes, and approx $200 on accessories etc... I mean even if someone went in there to purchase a $10.00 something they really should be professional. I mean when i am next in line i really dont like to be nodded at and then not said Hello too..I have unfortuanltly been there 7 times and have not have 1 good experience. So sice i am currently working with that place - God help me.. I walk in with an attitude.. and they say NEXT. i say " yeah i have to...." and go into my problem or issue.. I treat them the same way they treat all their other customers. I actually am working with Shame on You from ch. 2... Im happy for everyone that has had a good experience but for all the people that complained.. Im right there with ya.
