Need to vent!!!!!! LONG UPDATED at bottom

I HATE my boss's husband!!! Ok i babysit here on long island for a couple with a one year old baby (just turned one last week) Anyway i get paid by the day so it doesnt matter how many hours i work. The wife goes to work everyday, i never even see her b/c she leave before 6, and everyday i come here at 8AM and her husband is supposed to be out of the house when i show up. Well he never is! He stays here all day with me and i hate it! He is so rude and annoying and very very disturbed! I have spoken to his wife about this and told her everything and she just cant control him. and i found out he doesnt even work! i stay here all day watching his kid while he is out shopping and doing whatever he wants. Now for the bigger problem. They way he acts around me is ridiculous! For instance, everyday I come here he is always in his pj's. i get here at 8 and they have a very very small apartment so i am always in the same room as him, well i get here and he stays in the living room talking to me or on the computer for at least an hour and then he finally goes in the shower. This is the worst, he ALWAYS comes out of the shower with his towel on and starts walking around the aprtment and talks to me and he will stay this way at least 20 minutes!! Then his son will try and play with him and he will say oh dont pull down my towel christina doesnt want to see that! ive asked him numerous times to put pants on before coming out here and he doesnt listen. I have complained to his wife and nothing works, and right now he is in the shower and i am dreading when he comes out
Sorry just needed to vent. I know i should leave but i feel sorry for the wife, she has it very hard and no one will watch the baby for her, she is trying to find daycare

I don't really know how to say this, but I would quit the job. I would never put up with this harrassment. If the father is home all day, then he should be more than capable of watching the baby.
It's not worth the aggravation, and his behavior is unacceptable!

Ew that's yucky!!!

I would give the mother another warning and tell her if she doesnt' do anything about the situation, then you're out of there. Her husband's behavior is rude and disrespectful...not to mention could be classified as harrassment!

Maybe see if you can take the child to your house. That way you keep your job & you don't have to see him!

I also totally agree with that Idea! I think you should do that, bring the child to your house.

ok just spoke to wife and told her i can no longer take it and that i refuse to work anymore if i have to see him in a towel everyday. She called back 20 minutes later and said problem is fixed and i said what does that mean. She said she told him that it is inacceptable for him to be in a towel in front of anyone other then his wife, he claimed he didnt know it bothered me and the he only did it for a second!! yeah right he does it everyday for at least 10 minutes!! anyway she told him to know bring up this topic with me to just drop it and never let it happen again. I will let you know what happens tomorrow

neena that is terrible, I could not imagine how uncomfortable your days must be, then I am also imagining your bosses day, having to call her husband and beg him not to wear a towel around the babysitter, could you picture what her eavesdropping co workers must think?

gl neena! if that happen's again tell her you are not going to babysit anymore, I understand that she told himnot to do that around you anymore but again he might turn around and just do it again . becareful.

thanks everyone. Its just so sad, I feel so bad for her b/c she must be so ashamed of what he does. And it is scary b/c he is wierd and he thinks that this is ok, everything is a power trip with him. I am no longer working here after jan, its just to difficult, ive tried my hardest but with this and school its just not worth it.
