i have not bought it yet - but like earty looking baskets, usually in square - round feels too "country" or something...
These from Crate and Barrel make me happy!

I think it is a recent trend - brides fill a basket with slippers (I am using the Chinese mesh slip on ones - about 1.50 each in Chinatown) and put it in the bathroom of the reception - it is sort of a "compliments of the bride for your tired feet." It will keep people dancing, and is one of those nice "touches."

I like the "earthy" feel of them - it goes with the whole vineyard/tuscan old-world thang I am going for. This is the cocktail hour room: They sorta match!

I am finally sending out the STD's this week (only 3 weeks after scheduled time) so I am glad to be celebrating their exit from my life!
Are you doing the slipper basket thing? OOT bags?
Right now I am obsessing about OOT bags/boxes and actually bidding on wholesale lots of lipbalm on ebay. When I step back and look at the stuff we "get" to do right now I realize "This is such a unique and strange time in my life!!" I mean, SLIPPER BASKETS?! Wheen I use these phrases around non-wedding people, they just look at me like I am an alien.

If you are looking for cheap lip balms....Avon sell them for less than a dollar each. I sell it so I know they are usually like 79¢ each..a rep gets them for a little less. Assorted flavors, etc.
