Our September 11, 2004 Wedding at Oheka Castle - FINALLY with a link to pics that works!!!

It has been quite some time since I have been on the boards, but I came on tonight thinking about my friend am470. I was curious to see how her wedding at Oheka the week after mine went and as I expected it was GORGEOUS!!!! She was a really wonderful person to talk with and helped me out with some solid advice! We even both considered the same gown at Kleinfelds.

Well although I owe you all a review, I have to ask for a little more time since I am still dealing with some of them.

As far as my day was concerned..Bruce and I could not have asked for a more AMAZING way to begin our lives together. Our church service was magical due to the wonderful Father Pierce Kenny of OLPH in Brooklyn, the music of Elegant Ensembles, our trumpeter and the my spectacular organist Jim Lake who coordinated all the music with me and the rest of the musicians. I cannot forget all the people who turned out for the church service. I realy want the church to be filled, since the mass was very important to us (afterall the marriage is about the bond of 2 hearts under God) and I wrote a letter to all my guests and enclosed it in the invites. I guess it worked because my church was filled with many who came from long distances!

I really have a lot of vendors to comment on, but for now I am only going to jump to Oheka, because I need to get some things done for the morning, but our wedding at Oheka was a dream come true! I felt like a princess with her knight ... so did some of our guests.

I am just going to post a few pics for now, since I know you girls really love that the most and I promise to post my reviews on EVERY vendor when the time is right. Thanks to all of you who were so great!

Thanks for the shout out. I had been thinking of you too. I actually asked Ronnie about your wedding and she filled me in a little. I heard it was great. You had perfect weather!

No. I had them resized and they sent to me in hotmail. I clicked on properties and then cut and pasted that into the insert web image link.

your wedding looked beautiful!

if youre trying to post pictures, once LIW emails you an image, right click it then select "save as". i usually save the image to "my pictures."

then when youre posting a reply on LIW, scroll down to where it says 'attach images" and click on "browse" and a screen will pop up with your computer's directory. find where you saved the image ie. "my pictures" and double click on that picture. you can post up to four pictures in one reply, and once youre done, click "post reply." hope that helps!
